You do know that it takes multiple years to theorize, develop, manufacture, test, refine, and mass produce processors, right? If Samsung doesn’t have an existing architecture that they believe they can refine to beat the M1, then starting with a new architecture takes a lot longer. Intel, AMD, and Nvidia, at any given time, are in the process of developing processors that are multiple generations in the future. Samsung bringing out an M1 killer in just 3 more years is honestly surprising to me .
