LG’s latest 4K CineBeam projector projects a 120-inch screen from 7-inches away : gadgets


That should be enough for good picture quality in daytime with the blinds up, so it could replace a TV while offering a much bigger screen size.

I’m skeptical too, but if it pumps out more light than an equivalent 4K TV does I guess it makes sense? There are bound to be some losses in absorption or whatever but brute force fixes a lot right? I kinda wonder how hot it gets though or if it needs a huge fan.
