Ha, well this generally makes me more apprehensive than reassured but at least it’s only as a consultant. It seems like he does amazing work when his input is tempered, but before he stepped back, the gore-fest of design over functionality was becoming bothersome .
I’m so glad the new laptops don’t have butterfly keyboards. I’m overjoyed that they have better battery life. I don’t miss the Touch Bar (even though I never experienced the visceral hatred against it that some did). I think I’m right in saying he oversaw all those things. The sacrifice? A return to a slightly thicker form. Does anyone really care about that? Great trade off.
